Much of the work I am hired to do is the restoration and detailing of significant automobiles to bring the maximum selling price for my clients. Engines and compartments, upholstery, rubber, paint, glass, trim — every inch of your car is attended to in my pre-sale preparation. I have found that even vehicles which have recently been restored can be enhanced by attending to the details that other knowledgeable buyers and collectors look at.

Like the 2007 high-end Lexus at a local dealership with extensive wire harness damage cause by rodents who dined on the harness as the car over-wintered in the owner’s garage. Or the Porsche whose owner didn’t have time to prep his car before he went abroad on business and returned two months later to a drained electrical system, battery acid leakage, a mouse living inside the air filter and a generally dust-covered car.
Mildew, paint degradation, sludge and acids in the engine oil, flat spots on tires, gum and varnish in the fuel system, battery leaks, even little furry creatures who nest in and can dine on stored cars.
